Our mission and journey
The Spiro Group strives to be the global leader in the face mask industry with products built on a passion for filtering air and healthy lifestyle. We’ve come along way,
From humble beginnings we have grown from strength to strength. We have set goals with purpose and direction in mind. We have been inspired by an astrophysicist, doctors, a soccer team manager and opera singers. We have learned skills and mindsets from amazing people all over the world.
We have found a problem and worked to find a solution. We have conducted customer research across the world to feed into our prototypes that we have developed with the customer problem in mind.

This interactive web tool collects data and visualises COVID cases and air quality in your area.
This is a tool that people can use to keep up to date about the virus risk. As our masks are adaptive and can be used for low air quality by switching the filter. This tool will also allow the user to make an informed decision on which filter to use based on covid risk or air quality.

MUBIN KAZI
CTO
With a background in business analytics and finance, Mubin has been visualising data for years. He is the brain behind our interactive public health data tool, helping inform the public of current risks in their area in real time.
STEVEN LUYAPAN
VP of Engineering
Steven has been breaking everything he touches from a very young age, this brought him to study mechanical engineering at UC San Diego. He is utilising these skills to design our masks. Steven has pushed these masks to be above and beyond industry standard.
SASHA WHITTLE
CXO
Sasha has been utilising her creative problem solving skills in this new challenge. With a background in science communication, contemporary metalsmithing and chemistry Sasha was drawn to innovation by curiosity and as a way to make use of these odd collection of skills.
GEORGE WANG
COO
George has a background in Biomedicine and Commerce. Being fond of public health, he is driven to create innovative ideas to improve it and is compelled to leave the world in a better state than he found it.
